I took these pictures with a T630, so they are not going to be the best in terms of quality, but they should be adequate to illustrate the differences in size between the P900 and the S700.

no display is. Buy screen protection. Don't go and try it out. It will scratch.

I read in one of the mobile magazines that I take, that the S700's screen is actually very good when it comes to resisting scratches. The reviewer had it in his pocket with various things that could scratch it i.e. keys, etc and they didn't do any damage. The reviewer seemed jolly impressed.

I have also heard that the S700 and the K700 have scratch resistant screens.

i think vonspace sort of said is K700 screen was rather easy to scratch.... i also do not believe in 'unscratchable screens' if I can be honest and I myself won't be putting it to the test

I work as a Landscape Gardener, and I always seem to get bits of sand and gravel, concrete etc in the corners of my pockets.
My s700 has been floating around in my pocket with all this debrissince Tuesday, and so far its doing incredibly well! If you really look close, holding it up to the light, you can see a couple of faint scratches, but nothing deep, yet ! Cant wait for the screen protectors, and cases to hit the market .

Essentially all the functions are available when in closed mode except for those requiring input from the keypad. The browser can still be used in closed mode, but to enter WAP addresses one will obviously need to use the keypad.

The camera can only be used when in closed mode.

The phone book can be accessed when in closed mode, but one would have to scroll through it until one reached the desired contact, something of a laborious task if one has many contacts.
A quicker way of calling someone in closed mode would be to access the recent call lists, but of course not all one's contacts will be present.
