found 2 stalls in gh today selling the s700i. they hav its box though they say its out of stock. monday daw un next delivery and its pegged at 40k...grabe, ang mahal!!! though id really want one, il wait for it at official distributors or for it to be released in dubai. id rather buy at authorized dealers in dubai kesa sa gh, bsyds, mad mura un price ng authorized dealers dun compared d2. kahit maghintay pa ako for shipping and all, its better than walang warranty.

I think that's really the price. it going for $700-$750 everywhere else in the world. its still too freakin' high. It should be at most Php30K. |

Might I ask, which stalls or which particular area in GH/Virramall did you find the S700i? Were you able to determine where the units came from or where they were made in?

hello! i'm new here but just like to share info re s700, I've seen and used the prototype s700, it's basically a k700 in a different form factor, it has 32mb internal memory and capable of up to only 128mb ms duo and not pro. its kinda hard to text since the keypads are kinda flat, but has nice camera and screen and loud speakers, btw it also has radio and mp3 support =) |

its in a stall near smart wireless centre...thers alot but they have the box to show people theyhav it...@ballistic - welcome n thanx for d info but i tink evry 1 knows dat already... ;-)

Sheesh. 40k is just too much. That's P910 territory already. I hope it goes for nothing higher than 30k when it hits dealers this week. |

same here. i even sold my k700i and nokia 7610 for that phone. but it seems my dream of having that phone is drifting away. and, my anxiety is killing me soooooooooooo much in getting that phone!

There's an SE booth in glorietta this week - in front of the armani and mossimo stores, near the mall entrance na katabi ng bread talk. There's a demo unit of the S700i =) Ang ganda nung phone!
But the promo guys and girls there appear to be clueless about it's local release date and price. One of them went so far as to say it might be released in the last week of October or early November.
Sheesh..

I've read a lot of reviews regarding the s700i being too overpriced and almost same features as a k00i. Personally, it's not worth your hard earned money
