Good effort that, especially given length of the matches. Alicia Molik won the first aussie individual medal in tennis with bronze.

I am embarrassed by india's performance in the Olympics. A country of more than a billion people and only one silver medal! :-(

4 actually. Not as good as in Sydney where we got 2 golds, but I can't be nothing but proud of our athlets. Pretty good for a nation of 2 million. |

Bronze Medal to Portugal in the 1500m men:D Great race by Rui Silva, he spent all the race behind, and in the last lap he started is engine, passing almost everyone, it was exciting  ...i think if he started a little sooner he could reach at least the silver

This is what all the media is spreading around the world.
I feel so lucky that I had the chance to be at the Opening Ceremony and at the Closing Ceremony yesterday night.
Plenty joy during the Games but many tears as well when the flame stopped lighting our hopes, but sure will keep our hearts warm.
I will never forget this great experience. When the flame was extinguished by the little girl I must say that a tear dropped from myself. Surely I was not the only one. All the people that were at the stadium plus the whole world was touched by the Olympic Spirit...
I am so proud for Greece.
