@bobafett - we Filipinos were branded as the 'greatest immitator' ! We do copy all sorts, dress, PCs, softwares, movies etc. Now, I think it's just possible for those people to 'also' immitate Jesus' agony.

I would make forbidden such attractions. I am not religious, but its tasteless in my eyes. Not because of me, more of jesus.

Mel used such kind of visual equipments to show the suffering of an individum who was the phisical evidence of a human faith and religion. Not jesus suffered and had been punished, it was the christian spirit. And even the romans fought against it, not they was those who decided his execution. Thatswhy is this part of christian history so hard to accept and leaded many time to conversations.

This just in! I watched just moments ago a morning news show called - 'Unang Hirit' here in Manila. I was so surprised to see in their foreign police segment a news regarding the effect it had contributed to the people after they have watched the movie - 'The Passion of Christ'. In the USA, 3 people (male) came to the authorities after they have watched the said movie, admitting some crimes they have perpetrated in the past. Authorities were surprised to see them admitting such crimes, and the effect of the movie it had contributed to their being. These were the 3 crimes those 3 indivuduals have committed and from the place of their origin.

1. Arizona - Murder
2. Texas - Robbed a Celfone in a Shop (this is really interesting here)
3. Florida - Bank Robbery

With the effect of the film to these people, it is very possible that the said movie hit will be played in the movie houses, again and again (re-runs) . . .

@jojo 3 guys? And where are the other 30000 or donnow how many. Mel reached the target he was probably heading for with the film. We speak about it. But the circus is over in some weeks, months. And everything will be the same as before. So we are, mankind.

@jowi - You just know that morning show mate - you're a filipino right ?, broadcast over channel 7, from 5:30 till 8:30a / M-F?
@walids - I do agree, and more will follow suit, hopefully!
@bobafett - Yup! For now the count still remains - 3! I don't know about similar related reports in other countries ? That's why I hope that the said movie will make re-runs year after year . . .

The hope dies as the last, we say it here. A kind of reform would be welcome in minds and in souls aswell.
