Perfect Screen Overlay for P900/P800 that you can easily make at home! Even better than retail ones! |

I got a sheet from a stationary store nearby that costs a $1.00(in Canadian Funds), however you do not have to open up your p800 to use it, all you need to do is pop off the panel that covers the keypad hinge, that will give you the clearance to flex and pop the trimmed piece in there.
The one I got was supposed to be for laser printers instead of overhead projectors. it has a slight matte finish so there is not too much glare, seems to work fine and has not scratched at all yet, I did use cd polish to remove finger prints from it, so perhaps that helped.

Dear grex, in reply to your question about the removal of anything from the P900 all you need to do is open the flip and spray from about arms length, i will be back at work on tuesday so i will find out 4 u all. It's a tesco own brand so it may only be for tesco's own use but i imagine i can find out where to get it from. |

Does that spray leaves marks on the screen? (like ripples) or oily surface on the plastic part of the casing? |

WOw! A really useful idea, and it actually works! I got my P910i recently and have been worried about scratches as I prefer to use it without the flip, now it's all good!
