R6B004 Firmware for T610 is out! |

Ok, thanks for the info. I found the BIOS at cellular-support.com and I was just wondering how these things get acquired... are they legitimate? If I'm in the USA using AT&T Wireless, do I pick US1 or US2 for the main firmware? I don't want to unbrand or unlock my phone, just want a newer BIOS than my R1A. Thanks for the help!

I recommend you to go to a SE service center, I did it. And atleast in sweden it's free if you got the guarantee left. Send a mail to SE and ask about your nearest service center. |

Sorry guys... if you wanted some firmware just post here and I can put it up on my website.. you need terminator dongle to flash it yourself though

Only if there is an improvement will customers upgrade their phone's firmware.

I've got R3C and i havn't upgraded because I don't see the point of upgrading until they add something I would actually like. (Sockets support in Java, My Friends?!?). Seems too much trouble to go through just to have slightly faster java and slightly less buggy...Unless your phone freezes a lot, then it's worth upgrading. Mine freezes from time to time (About 3 times since i've had it) Especially when in Wap and Java games. |

Just got mine updated to R6B004 from R1A, Love the new camera functions and the picture size, also how it plays sounds in My Sounds.
All round a great update  - well especialy from R1A, lol!!! |

Now i'm using the R4C on MY NEW t630

Go to the nearest SE service centre. U cannot download the fw via WAP.

As far as i know there aint no extras just improvements. As for fw version u need the service menu.which i can never remember, r * L L * L * or i'd search for it,and no u don't get my friends :-(

ok..  cuz i updated it for the first time...
very well... good cuz then i know the SE service center didnt do anything wrong...
I wanted my frieeends thoose icons where so damn nice! ^^ and i never use the for me "Comviq GPRS" button and sometimes I use the " call list" or what it is on english, ive got the SWE! |
