@tarzenlarsen, give me an email address and i'll just send you the .ini file which is what i'm using. also, be sure to have the mobile phone monitor for T68i (not T68m) installed.

It is an original t68i (not upgraded t68m). Anyway, thank you "arnoldc", my e-mail is tarzenlarsen@hotmail.com.
By the way, what do you when by PBTM for t68i? Is there one made especially for t68i? The one I got is from the Package_2_for_Ericsson_PFW_version_R2A04.exe

Hi guys!

I found a nice alternative to PBTM. Check it out: http://www.eflame.com/fma/

The app is still in beta. But it kinda works

i can't make it work on the laptop using IR. the author told me that i need a virtual serial port driver (like IRcomm). Know any free version of this utility or similar?

No probs with cable though.

{added info}
The author of the above mentioned program, is also an ESATO user. He started a new thread about Mobile Agent (above program) here

@arnoldc
I have the mobile phone monitor for T68i (not T68m) installed and I have copied/pasted the ecsmca.ini-file you sent, but I still get the "Run-time error '91' - Object variable or With block variable not set".
I have the PBTM from Package_2_for_Ericsson_PFW_version_R2A04.exe. Is there one especially for T68i?

there is no PBTM specifically for the T68i. could you try to uninstall PBTM and mobile phone monitor, and reboot. upon boot up, a) install PBTM, b) install T68i Package 5, c) copy the new .ini file over the old one. the order is important.

to arnoldc and others;

Ok, first I got the problem that nothing showed up in the sms/phonebook after synchronisation (but it completed successfull) so I adjusted the ini file like told, and now it seems to work.

But now there is another problem, like some others that posted here seem to have it to. Now, my phonebook and sms is filled with the data from the phone. But, if I go to the "Phonememory" I also get the error "Object variable or with block variable not set". when I go to the "Sim card" or "Textmessages" there is no problem.

This is my setup:
- Original SE T68i connected with a DLR11
- I installed first the phonebook thing and then package 5 and then copied the ini
- my os is windows XP dutch

Since its working perfect for you arnoldc, can you post your setup to ?

EDIT

GOwin posted a new version of the pbtm :R4 (somewhere on page1)
It still doesnt show the phonebook, but , it doenst error out if you click on it (some improvement:) I also noticed that if you delete a sms in the pbtm its also deleted in the phone (wich wasnt the case for me when using R2) so if GOwin posts the url where he found this update we could check for it ourselves...

/EDIT

hmm.
i cant get the PBTM to work. I can connect to the phone, but i simply can see anything in the window. Except from the memory, battery etc info.
I also tried the Ericsson Phone settings program. When i tried to access the Templates there i got a error saying that the phone not could complet the selected operation.

Anybody that can help me out here?
I got Win 2000, T68 (with the new software), and a datacabel as connection.
