Does any body know if SE will flash the firmware update if it is under warranty. I bought my Z600 on ebay, good price. It came from China and has only two language selections: English and chinese.
It has R2C007 version. |

the manual describes the  warranty as being only within the country or region (region being europe) where you bought the phone.
however, I have regularly been able to get my firmware updated in uk for phones bought outside europe because in the first year of availability then don't tend to ask for proof of purchase, so its pot luck I guess!

I've noticed they don't ask if I bring in a phone with Dutch language installed... however they do when i have another language installed as main (even if it's the same lingo pack  )
 something to remember in the future when buying a 2nd hand phone
