The magnetic field could also be cancelled by a high powered photon burst interacting with the magnetic waves on a sub-atomic level. In essence a high powered laser can block magnetic fields, unfortunately our superconductor technology is too poor to allow this at room temperature.
There might also be a possibility of using gravity wave sto disrupt the magnetic field, again its a little far fetched owing to the fact that we would need tremendous amount of nergy that not even an exploding Nokia battery could provide.
Paperclip Boy are you ready to join our ranks and help combat the ever present danger of Nokia? The cool costume and the pink knickers have been taken, but I think I might have a bin liner somewhere you can wear.

@scotsboyuk, Good news, after many hours of tests i have made a fantastic breakthrough, your concerns over getting superconducters to perform at room temperature, well I DONE IT !!!!!
At tea time i cleared the table & not only did the experiment work, but i repeated it several times,i even had wondered if it was possible myself.
What a fantastic time to be alive !!!
NOTE,
My method did involve some unorthadox procedures for example DRASTICALLY reducing the temperature of the room !!!
