They told me that i will get it on friday or saturday that they want to conect them now. I even called them again that i want to place an order for a P900, they told me that the latest I will get it is on Monday, and that they have them in stock as i speak, he even told me how many do i want to order. I think there is something wrong with them, at the end of the day i told them to cancel my previous order,and put my money back on my card, he just said Oooh.

Right, heres the deal.
I have just called again and got through to Sales, they advised that they were still awaiting stock and are receiving 25 handsets this evening???. 25 i said, you have over 200 on backorder?. WTF
I then got the number for Customer Services (0845 456 7878) and enquired with them. Lady put me on hold for 20 secs and came back and advised that she had just spoken to her manager and they were receiving enough phones to clear the back order. Hmmmm very quick chat with her manager, have they just fed me more bullshit???
Usual story yet again, you will receive a call when we receive the phones, she advised tomorrow morning(NO CHANCE) or Saturday morning(HIGHLY UNLIKELY)
So keep on bombarding them with calls and post your stories here!!

My friend called them now 14.46 to place an order and they told him that they have none in stock, and that they will recieve some on wednesday, that if he wants one he should pre-order now, i told him to try carphonewarehouse, and he told them to pricematch OSPS which they did for £99.99 on the same tariff, and to be delivered tomorrow, very good deal.

i just phoned cpw and they refused to price match OSPS your plan 400 price of 69.99.
So how come you lot have been able to do this? |

I think you should try them again, i guess the sales person you spoke too doesnt have a clue, they can pricematch £69.99 for £99.99 on your plan 400, try calling them again and speak to someone else.

i dont get your post drew about they can price match 69.99 for 99.99.
On yp400, cpw price is 129.99, osps 69.99.
Do they actually ask where the offer is( i didnt get this far in conversation) because if they dont i could say it is 79.99 and see what they do |

I spoke to them on three occasions and each time I get a different answer on when they will have stock.....

damn, just phoned cpw again. They would do it for me for 99.99, but they are now out of stock!! aaarrrggghhhh lol
couldnt be arsed to put it on back order will check cpw shop in town tomorrow, see if they have any.
Anyone know if the store will do the same pricematch, or will they ask to see proof that it is in stock? Because as we all know it isnt in stock at osps |

Have had all the same lies myself.... just got of the phone to customer 'service'. last batch was only 100 phones, next should be 300 which will fill back orders of 210 (which i am No 136) . These cowboys are all on commission and don't get paid untill our phone gets delivered, with that being the case its probably worth holding on, can't be arsed to re-order...

just spoken to them again. called the sales number first, asked to speak to someone in customer service and I was told that I'd have to call customer services directly on the 0845 number. I called it and ended up being put through to the same guy, who was incredibly unhelpful, refused to tell me how many phones they had, or were expecting. Just that they were getting enough phones to cover the back orders tomorrow and that mine would be sent out.
OSPS:"it will be with you tomorrow"
Me: "with ME tomorrow?"
OSPS "er no, here tomorrow, with you saturday or monday"
Me: "can you give me any more confirmation than that?" bear in mind that he hadn't asked for any order details.
OSPS: "it will be with you saturday or monday"
I then threatened to cancel the order, blah blah... and he just said ok mate, thanks... bye.

surely this sort of thing isn't encouraged by orange, great first experience of the brand isn't it?
could we forward this thread to anyone at orange responsible for dealing with their dealers?

Guess what, after yesterdays superb lying by the bulls**t consultants, they dont have them in stock today although Orange sent them to them yesterday.I then told them in polite terms but including various choice words including the words "piss up in a brewery" to cancel my order.
After cancelling my order I phoned Orange about a normal upgrade and after discussing this supposed called Orange dealer she was very interested and filled in a report card on this **** company which would be passed onto the business side of Orange.I dont know how Orange operate but she was very surprised that they had taken money out without sending the phone. |
