Only 1€ for Stella-Artois in some bars and party's.
And sometimes my mom wonders why I'm so drunk always???

Beer rules any day ...
just adding up, I spend way too much on it, about 120 Euro a week, yikes ...
no wonder Ireland is number 2 in the world of alcohol consumption ..
only draw back is what it makes you do ..heehee, never thought I'd ever get to use that smilie
You guys in Norway and Sweden get ripped off, I was there and couldn't believe the prices, was one of the most expensive weekends ever ... I think the Czech Rep. rocks, beer is so cheep there, probably the reason they beat Ireland to the No. 1 spot
Nicest beer Guinness, followed by Heineken, but only in Amsterdam, not that export crap and then German weißbier ..

Yes beer can be quite expensive (what does 120 Euro's a week work out in Sterling?) I never liked Guinness until I went to Dublin - now I love it!!

Jester,
if you think that German whitebeer is good, then try Hoegaarden White sometimes.
It is the first and original and certenly in summer when the weather is hot and it's served in a frozen glass.
