Fantastic app Droll, well done! It's so good (and I've been using Sman since version 1.1a) you've made me submit my first post on Esato! OOh, I'm soooo excited I've forgotten what I was gonna say...
Anyway, like efjay, I too am having OggPlay disappear from FC mode, which is a bit of a pain since I like fumbling in my pocket (ooh-err) to use the jog dial in OggPlay. I have since reverted back to Sman 1.1a (which is still marvelous) and am having no probs.
Keep up the excellent work, since not a single person can complain with free software... If you dont like it F*$&"$$

Regarding SMan, you guys may wanna go here:
www.P800.info
It's a german site but I'm sure you guys can figure it out. It has a whole lot of free downloads and links and ratings including prices of certain softwares. All you need is a list of software anyway. It works best when you download to your PC then just drag and drop to your P800. Some files are .zip.
Just thought you guys may wanna take a look. It has a complete list of EVERYTHING for your P800. You name it, they got it.

@ajack
I have a problem with Sman I.2a , I installed it after uninstalling the previous version. The problem is when start the scanner to bluejack it keeps on scanning even if i hit the red cros on the bottom or even try to quit Sman from the function menu it doesn't stop, it keeps on saying scanning..... The bluejack timers are 10,30,60,3 sec respectively. I can't find a solution on the manual, I checked it.

@anish:
The bluejack modules takes time to stop. It's not instant!
What I usually do to speed things up is to go to the bluetooth settings and switch off bluetooth.

Just a concern really...
It's wonderful having access to all the systems of our P800, but isn't that also somewhat risky since it's very possible that we may accidentally delete some vital info or data of our P800 and prevent further proper function? Or, is there some safety device that will prevent the deletion of certain file types? In addition, can we then use SMan to remove certain builtin features of our choice? Example, remove built in browser since Opera is available? |

I notice there is a new feature called FixSyncTime. It is meant to allow the P800 to resync all appointments according to the most current time zone. It also removes GmtOffset.ini and Daylight.ini. Can someone please explain how it works?
This is one feature that keeps bugging me since everytime I travel to a different timezone, my schedule is all screwed up. Will this fix the problem?
Thanks in advance! |

@jackyochan
I read the manual as you should had done too (Ajack told us to read it before asking questions )
Fix synch timezone
This option deletes the Daylight.ini
and GmtOffset.ini files from the P800.
Doing this allows you to synchronize
your P800 with the PCSuite software
provided by Sony Ericsson and allows
the P800 to re-synch all calendar
entries with the current time zone.
Very useful for roaming users.
Hope that answer is what you where looking for.
