R2B025
maybe that's the mms version for t68m
coz now it's just R2B013 for the t68m
R2A for the t68i.

You can't just look at the R-number, you have to look at the whole number which is CXC 125 324 R2A014 on the T68i now and CXC 125 324 R2B025 for this updated T68m. T68m today has CXC 125 409 R2B(something) I think and as you can see they are not the same. The new software is a evolution of the software in the T68i and I think this software (or even newer) will be available for both the T68m and the T68i at the end of may.

I said it already in another thread since they had more time
working on the T68m upgrade software they should have
had time to fix more bugs and perhaps adding small features
so wouldn't supprice me if it was slight better then the sw T68i
is being shiped with right now. I would not be sad either
both hardware quality and software should be getting better
the longer they work with them.
That do not make me wish I had one if the first T68's with
less hardware quality I bet there will be an upgrade for T68i
too perhaps it will suit both T68m and i. Atleast if they find
any bugs they think is worth fixing in T68i
so far I only seen 3 things I would considder bugs.
1) Erix custom background behaves strange sometimes the setting
is used sometimes not. (Not important)
2) NO button can still shutoff the phone in keylock mode. (they might want it like this)
3) Composing large iMelodies is slow as hell noway to jump to start.
My NO button on the T68i is very firm so don't think it will be a
problem for me, never happened so far.
The others imho is not important either just a bit annoying.
Well it will be fun to see what will do next regarding T68m/i

I belive that the software that comes out inn week 20 will be for both T68i & T68m! Version R3 perhaps? I have heard that Service Points need new equipment to upgrade T68m to i. I have noticed that the list of Sony Ericsson Flash Points is shorter than the list of Ericsson Service Points (for Norway).

finally....i had in my hands 68i-on TELEINFOS ( in my town, and it is not in Jibuti)....and it is for woossies!.
I should have had white hat on when holding it in my hands...loking like pimp or Jamirouqai.
Version is r2b014, MMS, WAP is 1.21., but can be upgraded, standby time is the same.
T68m with T68i s/w is perfect combination!!!!!

Hmm. If the software for T68i is the same as the one for T68-->T68i. It's released for a long time ago. Since Ericsson Service Centers need it to repair broken T68i's. |
