t68 looks definatly better 4 me... i can't believe developed design over the t300 look... i didn't expect this...
reminds me of volkswagen giving polo the lupo look!!!
it's not as bad as some of u people say, though!
they all look business-like (!) now, maybe... i think the guy that said that this design came from old sony phones is absolutely right! the 1st peek i gave to all these new phones, they remimded me of that sony that had a wheel on it's side - a long one...
that phone kicked ass! it was very, very good. sure hope these come out like that one! |

I like the features of the phone and the looks are ok too but it just occurs to me that who the hell designs these phones at SE? If you compare the looks of a T600 or a T610 to a Nokia 8310 or 7210 it's like comparing the works of an engineer and a designer.

Design - 5/10
Physically, the T610 does not look all that appealing. I would have to hold one first before I made a decision. It just seems like it will not be very comfortable in ones hand.
Form a feauture point of view, its get 10/10.
I just hope it feels more comfortable than it looks. If so, I am sold |

the design is very nice - i like the design of the Z1010 a bit more - but the T610 has something special - the only thing which is not really well designed are the buttons - they look the same on every new phone - it would be bether if the buttons would be like the T68 ones - just stylish |

the design is great - 10/10
I was glad it was'nt a clamshell and not too curvy and girlish like the electronic equipments from Finland called Nokia(I dunno wat exactly they call it!)
I really prefer the boxy design as it was the usual Ericsson and Sony design like the T10,A1018,R520M,CMDs and etc |

Sorry guys, had to pack up, go home last night to sleep.
Now here is the update:
Love the T610 - 21
Hate/dislike the T610 - 15
Dunno - 4
I hope I did not double count any of you who posted your positive or negative response twice or more...
I know I definitely did not double count TripleX's.
Phew, the gap between the Love it and Hate it is really narrowing...
Keep it coming guys, I will post a summary at the end of today (I'm over her in Singapore 10a.m. 6 Mar 2003)... |

hmm.. has anyone noticed this yet?
the T610 doesn't have an 'option' key like other ericsson phones? the T310 does, and their keypad layout is almost the same... the T610 has a button that looks like an 'undo' feature.. that's the same key that the T310 has the option key...
my opinion.. i like the option key and HOPE that differently-labelled key is in fact the option key ehhe.. the design overall is alright...

Its good, plain simple design, I like it, at least it's simple design isn't like Nokia, it still has the SE style here.

I like the new design for the T610, and believe it is worthy of SE's tradition of innovation. Unlike Nokia and a few other who are experimenting with unusual key placement, SE seems to be keeping the design simple and easy to use.
If I didn't have a P800 on order, I would seriously consider getting a T610 to replace my T68i. |

My only complaint is that they didn't make the phone quad-band. Motorola is doing this with some of their new phones. Why not just make a quad-band instead of two tri-band models? |

I don't really mind if the phone is in the shape of a box. I just really hate the keys. |
