Carriers in the US are implementing 5G using mmWave but they are also pushing out sub6 networks too. My carrier, ATT, already has mmWave live and is planning to have sub6 up and running by end of the year. The problem is whether the band will be supported by X1m2, but it doesn't seem to be.
AT&T is deploying sub-6 on 850MHz or in other words n5 band which is not present in the X1m2...
But frankly 5G networks are not that much faster right now than actual LTE ones...so pretty much all 5g phones at the moment are more of a gimmick...I'll still grab a X1m2 and use it on LTE, I don't really care about long term usage as I change phone every year (or even every 6 months sometimes) |

I like the photopro app interface.... looks nice.
Did you see an in depth review of it somewhere?
@moogo,
Unfortunately no. This is based on the promo video. The interface looks professional and looks like a camera.

" The Sony Xperia 1 II 3.5mm headphone jack is optimized by engineers' audio to reduce crosstalk to an imperceptible 20dB, which is more than 90% lower than using a USB-C headphone connection. "
" Sony Xperia 1 II supports up to 21W PD fast charge, which can charge the phone to 50% in 30 minutes. "
From Mr Buks .....

Doing a little research if the Xperia1ii does do 960fps slow-motion or not. The Samsung s20+ which is advertised to have 960fps capture using this same sensor. So would assume the IMX555 has stacked memory implemented, and I guess its just a simple omission on the Sony documented specs of the Xperia1ii that it missed 960fps slomo (well its doesn't actually specify it doesn't do it). What you all think?

Is this the only phone in the world that does 4K@60 fps video recording with HDR?
If yes, they should promote this feature more |

You know for sure? It's the same sensor in the s20+ which does indeed do 960fps. If no onboard dram then maybe it's processed through the 865 soc?
