The price is around 450/500 Euro, it's significantly cheaper than Z5 (around 250 Euro cheaper).

While it may not be superior to the Z5, but it provides all one needs in a flagship and at a better price than the Z5. If I had cash to burn, would buy both the M5 and Z5 and test the cams out to see how they compare. |

I see that Argos UK has the M5 for £330. You can get the Z3C for £250 and the C5 Ultra for £280. My current phone is near dead so I'll be buying a cheaper alternative to the Z5 because its expensive and feels like a stop-gap for the Z6 which is supposedly getting a 'new' design. The Z3C is excellent, getting support and optimised but the camera is old. The M5 and C5 have new hardware but will they get support? I'm really attracted to the M5 for its camera though, C5 for its big screen. Its a tough choice because the Z3C is a legendary device, still trumps a lot of today's devices and at that price. |

The Z3C is at a great price now but if you want the larger screen the the M5 is a beauty.

Get a Z3+ for £240, an unwanted upgrade so it is unused. Keeping my fingers crossed for a prompt Android M update so I don't get burnt much. The reason I went for this is because I'm not convinced the M5 will get the support compared to an ex-flagship Z series phone. Also, went for this over the Z3 because at least the Z3+ and Z5 have the same chipset so I'd expect Sony to better optimise the software. |
