Xperia Z2, Tablet Z2 & Xperia M2 will all be available in the area in April
Local prices are
Xperia Z2 : BD269 ($715)
Xperia Tablet Z2 : BD249 ($660)
Xperia M2 : BD230 ($610)
While the first two seems logical, the M2 I think it's a typo...

Pretty much state of the art. Even though we know for a long time that Sony release flagships every 6 months, it's a bit more "controversial" this time, because of the "2" in the name. Don't get me wrong, the Z2 is a great phone, but I don't think it deserves the name. The jump from the Z to the Z1 was way bigger, than the jump from the Z1 to the Z2. In other words, the name "Z1" kinda undervalues the Z1 and the name "Z2" overvalues the Z2 IMO. Still, congratulations Sony. In Sony, Kaz and Kuni we trust  .

Huh, I change my mind. I didn't know that things slowed down so much on mobile market. Compared to S5 this phone is a beast

Wel after that disappointing s5 announcement......Z2 will replace my Z for sure. ( not that I was considering s5 anyway lol)
Z2 + charging/speaker dock will be awesome combination!
Also agree about the "2" being used in the name....not really that much of an upgrade from Z1 but guess they had no other choice since what else can they call it?? |

Those in the US wanting the Z2 will have to wait until July. It will be available for Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. The international version D6503 supports all the US LTE bands and it will work on AT&T and T-Mobie with no issues. I will be importing mine since I don't want to wait for another 5 months. |

What are you on about? The S5 has the same CPU and it's running at a faster clock, 2.5GHz vs 2.3GHz in the Z2. What the Z2 has over is the RAM though 2GB vs 3GB in Z2.

I checked the pre order page for Xperia Z2 aaaand it says that the box will contain...
- Z2 (obvious)
- Screen Protector (Separated from the Phone  )
- Xperia Transfer EC310 (The cable you can use to transfer files from other phones to an Xperia One)
- EP880 (the normal USB charger)
- MDRNC31EM (the earphones with Noise Cancelling feature)
- another USB cable
Except for the fact that they still do not give a magnetic connector included this are all good news

I thought the headphones were not bundled with the device, maybe that is just tab z2? or perhaps again sony has opted for region specific bundles. |
