I was waiting for the Ericsson T39m to come out. It was a very beautiful phone and the buttons worked with a nice soft touch. Hmm... It is still one of the most elegant mobile phones ever produced. |

They'll all turn off eventually on every network, unfortunately. Three UK was due to end last year but I still have a signal.
I always wanted a White Aino and the Arc S was just beautiful.

Can anyone remember what Sony Ericsson's first 4G phone was?

@goldenface - looks like the X10.
how i wish i could use my old phones when I want to "disconnect" and limit my phone time. I still have my sony ericsson k700. if that still worked, i would be so happy. although i would miss tap to pay convenience.

I don't think X10 is 4G..
I feel like it's a Z line product that was the first 4G from Sony

you're right. i must have misread the search result headline.
looks like Z was the first 4G line.
though it seems xperia play had a 4G model too.

Just watched a Walkman W710i go for over £160 on eBay.
There's definitely a collector's market out there.

Just made an observation of how Esato has seemingly turned back to being more Sony focused, all the threads on the home page are based on Sony Xperia phones, no new Samsung, Apple etc…thread, lol.
Hope everyone is doing well. I still reminisce about the days of W800, W900 etc… How much simpler these devices we carried everyday were.

Life felt simpler and more relaxed back in the days of Sony Ericsson handsets.
Today I’m constantly stressed, and it’s not really about phones, but that era itself was better times for me.

I miss those days. Just been watching a YouTube short showing the old Nokia's and phones. The variety and number of different form factors was astounding.
The golden years.
