Sorry about the rambling but I happened to come across the nonsnce here and had to take a stand for what I believe. I have said what I need and will no longer post my political and religouis view points. I am a common hardworking American. I found this site looking for reasons my T300 was acting up.

But what about really creating a special forum for those who want's to battle out their political opinions..
Right, this isn't what esato is about.
Maybe there would be a way to have a forum that doesn't pop up on the first page as soon as a new post comes in.. so it would be harder to find.. =)

I am sorry for all the civilians who will die in this war. We are talking about it now while real people are about to die. Like it or not America since 911 has been on this road. There is no stopping or starting it here by us fighting. Pray to your god that your family stays safe and does not become a number on tv.
I look to the sky and wonder why when freedom calls we must die, but in my heart I have no fear because my ranger god is near.

Maybe we should start other threads, like what's the wheather in Manila, best reciepts for making delicious pancakes and how much toilet paper costs in Nebraska? At least they wouldn't make u fight eachother. I thought it's a mobile forum...

Just a Question which is REALLY interesting....
Hezbollah, (a lebanese Resistance group which fites Israel).. has killed 400 US soldiers in total (250 US Marines!!)
This group is the BIGGEST threat to the USA if ur talking about death tolls...
Yet the US has no balls to go after LEbanon..
Is it coz HEzbollah wiped out 400 soldiers in under a week in 1998 ?
Or did the US flee coz there wasnt any Oil there ?

sorry to all those who take offence to this discusion. Clinton should be in jail for a lot of things he did while in office. He left soldiers to die without propper support many times. Congress has tied the armys hands for too long. My country is at threat level orange for a biochem attack. Let it happen and I pray they let the dogs loose to do what they live for.

Please realize this thread is very disturbing to me and is forcing me to reconsider my involvement with Esato.
I probably won’t leave entirely. I’ll continue to read newsworthy threads about SE phones, and I’ll still download ringtone and images files to my T68i. But something is compelling me to silently protest by just not participating in threads anymore. It’s a shame, because I really enjoy sharing my experience with mobile phones, xhtml and wap, and I greatly value interacting and learning from other Esato members.
Yes, I could prolong the debate by posting lengthy counter-arguments to address some of the asinine comments made here already – but I don’t want to!! That is not why I visit Esato! First of all, it’s exhausting to feel obligated to continually monitor this thread and write articulate posts every time someone starts to spread misinformation. Second, I know I will be negatively judged by some people once I begin to explain my political beliefs. Why do I need this extra tension in my life?
Every time I see the “’Middle East’ topic was deleted.. why??” pop to the top of the home page “Latest posts” list, its like a small jab to the ribs and I feel my Esato experience become less fun.
It makes me sad to say this, but if the only way to justify removing this thread is to delete the whole Mobile-Free Zone, then so be it. I come here first for mobile phone information, and I will have no problem finding other places to discuss non-phone-related topics.

Good points and I understand you..
I didn't think I would be writing the stuff I've done here on esato and in this thread.
But I got carried away, which is easily done sometimes.
But one thing I find ridiculus is that you say you won't come here as often just cause of this thread, now that I don't belive.
You're not obligated to read everything you know, I think your curious of what's going on here, if you don't like it, ingore it.
But I'm with you on the thing about this topic making the front page news on esatos first-page everytime e new post has arrived.
I don't want that either, cause this site is (mostly) about mobile phones and shouldn't be flashing these topics with no links to mobile phones at all and just war in them..
It would be better if it wouldn't pop up for every new post.
If there would be some way of making topics like this one not to pop up on first page for every new post that would be good. |

I think that discussing something like this isnt wrong..
It is a Mobile phone site yes
But many other things are discussed as well
