ive tryed the driver, i really like it and love how its split into inbuilt menus to make it clearer, manual focus, saturation, ISO all work well but the "Sharpness" option doesn't seem to have any affect on the picture, anyone else noticed this?

mmmmm, i think this is down to design of the phone, due to the flash and the lense being close together, though this doesn't matter really as you can edit out the red eye on the computer
Positives for this driver
Manual Focus works excellently and is fantastic as it can even be used in video mode and even applied to zoom (by far the best option for me)
Saturation is great, gives a wide range of colours
ISO works nicely, no problems
Lovely simple layout of options
this driver definately makes the c901 a much better camera phone
Negatives for this driver
Sharpness doesn't work - it would be amazing if this could work
Minimum ISO is 100 and it would be nice if minimum ISO could be lower to improve quality
Overall a fantastic driver! thanks

@ chuotiutho
yep usually auto Flash gives red eyes but this is why SE provided with red eye reduct. option. just set it and you'll get beautiful blue, green, brown or whatever eyes the person has |

Nope. I doesn't work.
With k800 i never get red eye even with auto flash not rer. But with c901 almost my picture get red eye effect even with flash set to rer.

i agree with you junz... although as i said earlier that doesn't really matter as Red eye can be removed very very easily with editing

Maybe we could bend it to 2sec maximum, imo.
And so, could you put separate party mode (shutter speed: 1sec + ISO 100)?
Maybe like this:
Twilight landscape set in 2sec+iso100 (or more than than in order to change TL scene to firework).
And twilight portrait to party mode. It would be great.
I thought this was a good idea, but i now i don't agree with this idea as twilight landscape/portait cant be used this other focus options like macro or infinite, it will only work with face detection.
What we need is another manual menu for shutter speed that we can use for non flash macro's to let more light into camera without affect pic quality (as changing the ISO speed would),
We can increase the shutter speed with macro focus as the Sports mode allows use with Macro focus, then "hack/trick" i found can be applied to enable xenon flash
We need good quality macro shots in low light without the flash so therefore we need another manual menu for shutter speed... once jigonx finds these options of course
Ill simplify all feedback:
Changes for Next update
Include a Lower ISO - like ISO of 50
Get sharpness option to work
Long term Aims
Shutter speed manual menu, (could go in the current "scenes" menu because this can be changed by pressing the button 6) and it has enough options for a big range of shutter speeds

yes i know. sharpness settings seems doesn't have any effect if you see the photos from phone. but if you see it closely in computer, with 100% zoom, you will see the different. in bright condition may be it's not significant. but in low light condition, you can see the more significant different. more sharpness will make more noisy in the photos..
so imo, "theoritically", the manual sharpness codes is all right already. but in practical, may be it's not works as good as you hope..

yes you right, imo this because :
1. the xenon flash in C901 is placed too close to the camera lens.
2. C901 use a slower shutter speed for xenon flash (1/125s).
