 | What is your Windows system rating? To get to it, press in the windows key, and then press the Pause/Break key?
Include a screenshot too if you can

Mine is 5.9/7.9, and wierdly is being let down by my 2tb HDD, for being not quick enough lol. I'm gonna upgrade and get a 250gb SDD and another 2tb HDD for my server, nearly full

It measures disk transfer speed, the size of the disk will make no difference, my 320gb scores the same as you 2tb.

 | I have 400gb. I think I'll buy a new one. It's a SATA 320gb and an ATA 80gb. The 80 is making it a bit slower I think. |

 | i don't think SDD's are pratical yet, £300 buys 128gb , £50 buys a 120gb sata 7200rpm 32mb cache drive, id rather have a ssd as there faster and last longer (no moving parts) but an extra £250 for 1 isn't worth it il stick to high end sata drives until the price of ssd's falls.

 | Indeed, the lack of moving parts should make SSD's last longer. Unfortunately, the wear and tear of the mem cells in a SSD is rather rapid, so that at the end the life time of a HD and of a SSD are almost identical Pedestrian: don't run, my car is faster anyway. |
