Unfortunally I don't have them. I'm gonna check a local shop first before I order one, if they still have it.
Found it here:

you can find the year/week code on the sticker in your phone, there's one on the battery also, (05w16)
It's pretty save to open it up and give it a firm blow to remove the dust. just follow the tutorial.

I understand your hesitation if it's your main phone, for me it's only a spare one, and I'm replacing my K850 as soon as Aino is available. Or should I get Satio?
3rd one was not made?

I was sure about Aino, but I'm getting second thoughts.
One thing is for sure: I'll never sell my W800 (fka K750)

I never made it a secret that my W800 is a transformed K750. May 05 is correct, it has the same age as my son.

I did it with Davinci in 2006. It was €12 or so. I think you can do it with XS++ now. But I'm absolutely not sure about that.

Nice to look at these pictures.
Having owned T100/T200/T300/T610/K700/K850/W800/W810/W910/W980/C510/R300/W995 I have to say that W800 was the one which I liked most when I bought it. It simply was a discovery to me: watching web pages in Opera Mini (first version of course), listening to my tunes through the good HPM-70, playing a lot of games, taken the best pictures I could on a mobile phine (at the moment), enjoyng the white/orange out-of-the-crowd look, etc.
After this one I got a deserved replacement. It was almost the same good old W800 except for the welcomed EDGE. I am speaking about the W810. But this one never made me feel so good like the W800.
All other SE phones I mentioned have given me remarkable time of fun but I remark that no one like the W800
Good for you and your W800. I recently bought a brand-new and unlocked W810 and I had it stored.(I had dropped my original W810 in the sea two years ago and forgot about fixing it). After reading this post I think I going to unpack this new W810 and back to life some good old moments!
PS: the worst thing I've handled is K850. Too much hype when launched and too much hang-ups and issues
SE fanatic for years but lately Samsung phones are amazing! Everybody has any kind of evolution...Mine is this: T200>T300>T610>K700>S700>W800>W810>W890>C902 |
