You can obviously bowl and stuff. But since the Japanese can do it properly so can we.
Exactly. 2/3 of EU's phones look like they came from Japan and they seem very Japan like. I think thats why everyone might be a bit hesitant about them. |

I think that would be a better idea to connect it with the tv or another screen and use it like display; because with that small 2.4" it's really difficult to see something while playing... I mean, a Wii-style conception...
And for the public playing, it's pretty useless, it that case the motion gaming seems far better...
However, does it have the TV-Out at least??

Don't think so. If it did have tv out and the games were say played on a PS3 line of Yari games then I would have loved it. Phone graphics on my 42" hdtv? No thanks! |

Its also the only EU phone without VGA recording. Pretty poor for a phone but what can we do. I will still buy. |

This phone isn't for that series, really. It's W705 with Walkman V4. I think the EU series is for Entertainment Unlimited, not for Entertainment Very Limited. There isn't anything special in this phone. It's just "one more phone".
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

It's just an evolution of the gaming phones... It's interesting to look like in time SE changed its conception of gaming phone... In principle there was the Z700 (i think it was cancelled, flip phone, first with Java), then the classic K500 (it was advertised for the big screen for that period), the Swivel-Walkman W600 (with A-B buttons and landscape playing)... Then nothing until the low-end F305 (with motion gaming) and now Yari (with gesture gaming)... Apart of this short gaming story; maybe the Yari could be a high-end of the F-Series instead of a lower-EU... There would be less expectations

That sure is nice fresh way of thinking. Always good to look at things from a different angle.

Hey!! I have noticed a REALLY strange thing.... Look carefull at the keypad of both Yari and Aino and you'll find a surprise!! They have changed the last row layout moving the space bar to the center, the "+" to the left and the "a/A" to the right... Is there some new accord to unify the layouts or SE just decided to become more Nokia-ish??
