i got a W41 C905 and bought it end of october. no wobbly slider, no wobbly lens cover, just barely visible scratches on keys 1,4 and 7, and a somewhat stiff down d-pad button. The d-pad problem was the first to appear and it became virtually impossible to press down, but somehow, it "unstiffed" itself and while i don't have the same click sound as the other directions do, i can click down no problem.
So far, no other problem...

I got a week 50 model and I got no poblems so far in 5 days apart from a wobbly slider. It does seem to wobble to the left and right. Unless it causes problems or breaks I will live with it.

I have week 43 black for about a month and so far nothing too bad. (Touch wood touch wood) I have the scratched keypad but only slightly. I don't really use it a lot for calls though since Im on payg.

The only thing I have noticed is that if I rub my fingers around the d-pad it makes a plasticy noise on the left, the same noise happens if I do it on the call button.

I don't mind it though. I'm just hoping nothing bad happens like the posts I have read here.

Key #7 on the keypad has suddenly gone stiff, ... is it a normal case or am i the only one with this problem,

I've heard some compliants about the Navi key gone stiff, but so far no reports about the Keypad going stiff like mine ... and can someone confirms if this stiffness would end up being having not-working keys?

I've read a couple of C905 related threads and come up with the following points about C905 and its problems, Can someone tell me which of the following points are reliable facts?

* Earpiece problems happened only on the earlier C905, perhaps that problem solved from W43 onwards. [Is it true?]

* C905 devices which were made from (OR AFTER?) W45 are problem-free from Earpiece failures, Keypad scartches and other problems as well. [Is it true?]

* Black versions seem to have the most ones with problems and Inca versions are having the least of the problems. [Is it true?]

* CooperGold seems to have less problems than Black but more problems than Inca. [Is it true?]

Soo yesterday my phone went haywire. It started restarting every half an hour or so. Some menus went blank (even their titles) and the media menu is malfunctioning. It has corrupted some of my pictures and can't read any of the media on my Mem card, although I can access it via the file manager.
I'll be going for a third handset...

I am on my second C905 and after having it for 2 months it was fine till yesterday. All of a sudden when making a call i couldn't hear the other person. I know this has been an all too common problem for some users. Taken it in repair to Carphonewarehouse. Can anyone tell me having the same problem and taking it to them are they likely to be able to do the repair or is it likely that it will have to be forwarded on to sony ericsson?
By the way having to use my K850 now and it feels cheap and tacky in comparison

Mine is w43 and no problems at all sofar.. Really happy with the phone and i havenīt found anything that bugs me yet.

I usually find some annoying little thing that makes me change phone immediately after a week or so but this one im happy with. I just keep my fingers crossed

But if the worst happens, i have my trusty old spare (between real phones)3310 who never have let me down. Everytime i use it im amazed by the keypad but thats about it
