when my complaints ain't heard, i snagged the simcard and sent the remnants to the carrier's HQ. that showed them that i'm a customer to be satisfied, not anyone's mint galore. i'm on my way to doing that again.
however, this time it's different. when people think i can't stop doing something, i quit! besides, as a citizen who'm also a mobile subscriber, i don't have national pride because gadget makers are foreigners, most telco operators are of foreign investment - why should i make overseas strangers rich?
in case you miss me (there are very strong indications for that), don't worry, i ain't leaving. this fowum is the only place where i can articulate myself and show the world how genius i am - i don't have facebook nor myspace accounts, i don't tweet anymore. i'm taking early end year holidays. until then, please keep in mind (like GWB addressing teh nation) that i'm gonna miss systematically posting rubbish to this lively thread.. i miss rip roring changsar! |

thanks to yahoo.com's inline registration form validation (auto complete, auto fill), i was granted american citizenship, though i no way resided in us west coast when I was trying to register at that time. there was yahoo.com.au, there was yahoo.com.sg, but none warned me from the beginning - there is no banner in yahoo.com saying "dear valued customer, yahoo.com is for yankees, mexicos banditos, or quebec frobs only y'know! we better run a hog raising than to allow outsiders register here, y'see?!". consequently, according to 1787 constitution i could run for white house in 2016. but hey, i'm supposed to be on vacation, ain't i? |

soliloquy. this world is made of and for microsoft (windows)! when I was seeking help on how to connect to internet using cellphone as modem, my carrier's customer service officer kept talking like a gatling gun about how to set up a internet connection on microsoft windows desktop.. contrary to the popular belief, I don't think microsoft is evil. anyone, if given chances, can be as evil as microsoft. so, if google happens to be the bad guy, will microsoft be a hero? only time will tell, I can only tell that microsoft is always left behind the time.. NOTE: since it only a soliloquy, no need to react to it. |
