R7A is a bit more stable... but a new firmware is not the whole solution... the hardware part of the problem is the shieldingcan (metal plate between the curcuit board and the back cover)...

@Cytech

I'm not really into hardware (software guy myself) but does what you say actually mean that those little stick on things you put under the battery cover might actually work??? They seem like total bogus...

Example:
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/cellularoutlet/inansigboos.html

BTW. Is there an actual 'official' problem with the reception for t68i phones? The Motorolas and Nokias my friends use around me don't seem to be getting any better reception.

the antennas on mobile phones are already optimized to give a good reception... things that claim to give better reception are just bullsh-t... there are things like wave length, frequency to count with when designing antennas... these has been used when making the antenna so it's optimized for the right frequencies... by adding a sticker the result is.... not better, it might even have a negative effect on reception if you are unlucky...

So this version R7A005 allows you to use the 'save picture' function, right? It's been reported that R5D007 has had the 'save picture' feature disabled, prohibiting users from downloading pics from wap sites. So I just want to make absolutely sure about R7A005 before I flash it.

@jaeckel
I'm going to Las Vegas in a few weeks and I think I'll stop by the place you mentioned. How much did it cost?

Thanks peeps,

Is R7A out yet or what? I talked to a guy at SE here in Sweden today and he thought it already was out...so it can't be far away now...

Hi,
While we are waiting for R7A to come out I've heard something about R6B.
Does anyone know?
I found R5D more stable than R6A so I would definately go for a R6B update if it was available.
