Hey, Jan (JH67) got an important question
I did a qualification search of the NextLink BlueSpoon BT headset and found that not only does it support the BT Headset profile but also 2 serial port profiles. Why? and how is this used by the end user???

It is a reasonable question and is an inherent part of Headset Profile.
So there is no real extra functionality available to be used.
I guess the best way to describe DevA and DevB is that the Headset is able to start a connection and also to accept a connection from an AG.

what does it mean when a BT device have Power class 1,2 or 3 ? ..which is the best?
hmm sorry mates i found it :
Class 1: 100mW ~ +20dBm, 100m range
Class 2: 2.5mW ~ +4dBm, 15m range
Class 3: 1mW ~ 0dBm, 10m range

Which Bluetooth profiles need to be supported by any USB adapter I buy for my PC in order to use all the features (contact sync, picture transfer to phone, picture transfer from phone, etc.)?

Are you sure that you would like to use ALL profiles in PC? For example, carkit profile?
In case, you should have all profiles that available in all bluetooth device in the environment now and later.

does bluetooth work on the T65 cos the book i got says its supported but doesnt actually telly me how to use it! |
