Hi all installed the sony sketch font & when i txt it seems to be fine but if i reply to a txt it takes forever to type it anybody else encoutered this is there a way to resolve the prob? |

sirs, the sony sketch EF_205 has bold/italic/etc..
can these be installed altogether or just one of them?

I personally havent noticed anything like that? sorry.

Yes, upload all the files with the supplied xml 
You would need to edit the layout.xml to have them showing in different sections of the phone though, edit as if you were changing fonts on DB2010 phone  |

OK my latest creation,
Monotype Corsiva SE
Font is considered final, no requests for extra languages please
Sorry.... but I'm only posting as its my current installed font and I belive its only fair to share our mods for other's to enjoy. (feel free to mod and add languages if you wish, just remember who did the original conversion and created the extra symbols, killed the g & j bug yada, yada, yada ).
Converted for Europe 2 K810 (Europe 2 language set fully supported, as I said I made this for my own phone), currently supports Latin, Greek (I believe) and Cyrillic (not sure how supported those iso's are, but those are the ones that jumped out when doing the conversion), font contains Regular and Bold plus pre'written FONTS.XML and is suitable for all DB2020 and UIQ models with correct language iso's (UIQ must support ttf).

Yeah, I make it work with SE phones correctly, and also made the extra symbols so we don't have blank squares in the symbols section |

Im contemplating to upload your fonts but I need to have a backup of the original font just in case. Can you provide me with the original font?

Diezil, my phone restart when im installing Opera 4 (when it checks the fonts).... can you solve it?
Im using Sony Skecth 2.0.5 and my language is Portuguese-Brazilian

Yes that happens with Opera Mini v4 (only).... I'm not exactly what's causing it to crash just yet  Opera Mini v3 and the russian version's work fine, but if you need the full screen view thats only available in v4, maybe try the T-Shark browser
As soon as I find whats causing the problem I will update it. |
