unfortunately WXGA (1280 x 800) is the max resolution of the display on that model.
in the advanced display settings you can sometimes change the font size so take a look there

Congrats on your new toy, leeboy! I got myself a Vaio also. It was first as an option when I sod Dell
Anyone knows where i can get a charger for my SZ? Mine died, but odd enough, I found one small repair shop in computer center!? here where Chinese guy fixed it asap. Want to get one new just in case.
