SE has been acting crazy lately. First, buggy A200 platform. I know it's new, but who can compromise when dealing with basic functionality? Operation Failed is a very very serious bug IMHO. And now, for K810i APAC R8BA024. It's a 'senior' and 'mature' platform, yet still SE has made a mistake in getting rid of Chinese T9 functionality without logical explanation. Why did SE release this unusual combination: GENERIC and APAC? It's there, on SEUS server.

I've notice that Chinese T9 exist in combination MAIN_CHINA+FS_APAC, also half-size and full-size symbol for text message. These feature are not exist in MAIN_GENERIC+FS_APAC.

guys, any idea when SE might release patch for R8B024 firmware since there are so many bugs.

I downgrade it due to some reason but for sure the speed of saving photo is faster compare old version.

Well when I bought my phone it updated it straight away.

So I can't notice the difference.

Please post the pros and cons of this release compared to Version R1KG001.

Thanks

Btw the K800 Firmware Overview thread has not been updated (the first post).

Have a K800i bought yesterday. Forgotten this info. Can you point me in the right direction for changing my CDA from Orange as the rom is R3B022 which is quite old? Have XS++.
Then what is the best rom to use i.e. K810i and a UK generic one perhaps?
Thanks

i would run the phone through the SE update service which will upgrade it to the latest CID (cid52 is the latest), erom and firmware. once you have done that, you can then debrand it using xs++

(if you need any help, just PM me)
