~ 1 each month.... but sometimes it can go two (or more) months before a new is released, or maybe more than one release in one month...

cytech is right....there's no fixed pattern.....my advice is this: if u can bear with the current software and it's not giving u much hassle, then u need not change.....but again, if your set's still under warranty, then it's free and well worth the trouble......spoke to the guys at the service point and they haven't a clue when the next upgrade may be out too.....could be next mth, could be later.....

GODDAMMIT!!! How difficult would it be to give us back our old SMS tone?!?!?!?! It was already there!!! The weak-ass 'beep beep' we have now sucks. I want customizable SMS tones... if that's too difficult for SE programmers... then the old Ericsson tones will do. SE SMS alerts just SUCK.

What about adding functionality to the Green LED, such as double flash when you have missed calls etc, like the Maxon MN1 did, or showing missed/waiting icons on the idle screensaver

Would any of you like functions like that?

Texting Problem in R6A using T9:
At the beginning of a new SMS I can press "#" to get a "." but after that I cannot press "0" repeatedly to get a "@" for example. This problem also arises at the end of a sentence sometimes.
This worked fine in R5C and previously R2F.
I hate this! Has someone found a way around this other than using the "option" button?

@Cytech
Yesterday i noticed that when changing from animated screensaver (dirrty) to clock the screen just went black. Also the animation was very slow. Also added voicedial to three contacts and that(?) made the phone very slow and unresponsive. I removed voicedial from the three new contacts and rebooted phone and after that it was back to normal. Canīt swear that it has to do with R6A012 though, only that it wasnīt there before. Had B2.. something when i got the phone (manufactured June-2002)
