Can ne body tell me the actual path of the own_custpack folder.....ie., the directory stucture where actually the custom pack has to be extracted to be used with XS++..........

hi guys i have k800i flashed to k810i and i want to try this new version.
do i have to reflash again my phone to this new FW and lose all my files?? is there any other way? |

If your phone was branded/locked and you had someone unlock it and they "patch" unlocked it... once you reflash your phone it will be locked again. It has to be IMEI unlocked in order to reflash all yer stuff.
If you flash the FW yes you lose your files, ( just make a back up ) even with XS++2.2 you can create back ups now.
upgrading your K800i to newer software might be easier to try to use SEUS first. If that doesnt work the XS++ there are quiet a few threads here as far as step by step process goes.

I have R1KG001 and Hebrew language installed. If I want to update my version to latest, what should I do in order to do it properly without losing my Hebrew language?

if youre gonna do it with SEUS, SEUS should be able to recognize the region where you are. in case it doesnt, specify it yourself(dont know whether this can be done or not).

I remember once I had my K750i, I've chosen EMEA4 (I think) and it didn't ruin my customized language. Should I do the same with K810i (update if the update version includes EMEA4?) |

Hebrew for k750 is in EMEA5 while for k800/k810 it's in S_ASIA_LEVAN.

I also noticed that the camera driver has been changed since R1KG001, and for the worse;

xs++:
tick "flash main firmware" and choose the main file
tick "flash file system" and choose the fs file
tick "customize file system", choose your phone model and region (europe_5 the non branded version, it's written in the main window when you choose the region)
click FLASH
wait the flashing and you're done. |
