On my p990i the pcsuite does not find the phone. Media manager does work but you need to set the phone to file transfer rather than phone mode.

tested with my M600... PC Suite detects when the phone is connected, but can't recognize it
Media Manager works with M600, since you run in file transfer mode the phone is just recognized as removable drives so it's nothing specific for the model
I was most interested in PC Suite since I want to synch M600 with Outlook on my laptop. So I have to wait and pray that  release a more stable PC Suite for their smartphones (and other phones as well) |

I tried hardly with my P1. First it detects the phone then tries to install its drivers then disconnects! Its not meant to be used with the smartphones. |

in the 5 part package provided earlier in the thread, is an app called Sony Ericsson Media Manager. This worls properly with K800, anmd looks like not a bad app.
Something strange I noticed though, my firewall tells me it's trying to contact www.apple.com! wtf does Apple want with my usage info? And why is SE trying to give it to them (I told the firewall to block it)
