@jb... I take it u wont donate? Its not the amount thats important its that if all give a small amount it will get big this forum has saved most of us a lot of expenses in lot of ways so what gives..?

To all you out there with the wonderful solutions re emails to SE; petitions; banners and whatever else...
These are all ideas that may succeed - but all utterly useless in the short term. It may very well be that SE would like to help Esato, but do you have any idea how difficlut it is to get a decision like this made from a large company. As Laffen pointed out, it goes from department to department cos thats the way things work in the business world. Trust me I know.
The ONLY short term solution is to dig into your pockets... in a couple of weeks when hopefully the immediate crisis has been averted, you can go back to discussing 'pie in the sky' ideas. At present, they are just not going to help... however, well intentioned.

I am part of an online community based around ericsson and sony ericsson phones, http://www.esato.com, the forum http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=15283&forum=19&start=0 states that this community is under serious threat due to lack of funding. I believe it is providing a valuable service to ericsson and sony ericsson customers, providing support for the products and actively advertising to non S.E. customers. I believe it would be in the interests of yourselves and our community if you could offer some support.
