The P1i is a superb macro camera but very average to poor for other applications. Shame about the green tint towards the bottom right hand side of every photo too. |

it will be fixed in a firmware update. most  phone's cameras have gotten better with firmware updates, k750, k800, p990 etc (even if the p990 firmware upgrades weren't the best  )

I don't see how the green tint on one part of the screen could be fixed by a firmware update. All over the screen, yes. As for the rest of the camera, can software really make up for a bad lens? Digital cameras never need firmware updates so why do mobile phone cameras? |

I don't think that the camera on the P1i is wonderful, but if you time it right..
