I'm never a big fans on listening/watching multimedia stuff (music, video, movies, stuff like those) on portable devices, so I never personally own a portable device just to listen/watch anything, beside an old cassette walkman recorder that my parents get me for my first days at college (that was back in 1997/1998). use that walkman thing for about 1 quarters and never use it again (I can take OK notes and my exams' grades were good enough to graduate me from college).
I occasionally fire up my K750i and listens to the MP3 I collected over the years and get the kids moving/dancing to the music as an alternative to exercising on the other hand, my hubby heavily uses his W800i to listen to his music at work. he asked me all the time "why on earth are people using those bluetooth ear piece instead of just using the loudspeaker if they want a handsfree use of the phone?" I'd say that it's personal preference and I'm one of those people that prefer to lug a digital camera and a cellphone on vacation, just because the pics of the digital camera is on a whole other level compared to the pics my cellphone took! especially indoors!!
p.s. I'd think again if I have to take my video camera too, because that thing requires a lot of gadgets and hubby is not the person who like to bring a lot of stuff for vacation

i use my phone as mp3 player, tiny mp4 player, phone, dictionary and camera device. although it's just a k800, but it seems to be great, cause i only need to charge one device at a time, rather than have 5 different devices to charge... |

@lazeeboy, how's the sound quality with the setup you're using? I'm actually thinking of getting a K610i too, cos it has A2DP, and it's relatively cheap over here. I actually feel that my K750i has better sound quality than my Sony NW-E002 mp3 player. Feels like the K750i has more power to drive my earphones. I kinda regret buying my mp3 player now, cos I could have just used the money to get a larger capacity memory card and the HPM-85. Might be a bit silly to do that now that I've got an mp3 player.
Am looking to get the K610i and the Motorola bluetooth stereo headset HT820, still considering though. If anyone has any advice to give me, I'd be more than happy to hear it. I'd like to know if the HT820 is any good, and whether I should be getting a K610i at this point, seeing that it isn't exactly a new phone, and that I already have a K750i. If only the K750i had A2DP, I wouldn't even be thinking of getting a new phone, to be honest.

I use my P990 as my music player. better to carry this instead of an additional music player. Plus having the added convenience of taking and making calls without removing earphones is a bonus |

@deluded: hi. sound quality's ok. comparing my current headset with the hpm-70, i'd say the latter has more advantages coz it's got more bass and noise cancelling(in-ear design). but i still prefer my current set-up coz it's totally wireless/clutter-free and music's output can also be adjusted using the phone's equalizer.
if you're more into music, then i suggest you go for the K610/K618. but if you're after the picture quality, stick with your K750. K610 takes crappy shots in low-light conditions.

When I got my w800 it became my music player of choice (Over the nw-hd3, which I've lost now! ). With a 1GB card there just wasn't enough space. At the time, looking into it 2 x 4GB MS Duos would have cost more than the nano I then bought and less convenient. The nano didn't have enough space for my liking, so I moved to an 80GB video iPod.
Well to be honest they probably got an even amount of use in the end depending on how far I was going. I think the main reason I dislike having it converged is you can't get enough space on phones. Also when the battery goes flat from all the music you lose the phone capability too, but with a separate device you don't have that problem.
Some day I'll get a 4GB card for my shiny new P1i and use it a bit more for music playing, till then I'll have to stick with the 1GB card that came in the box. Too poor to buy the card now though
Does anyone remember using the little MP3 MMC card reader snap on for the old Ericsson phones? Good old 32mb |

Well i never i did get the N73, this N80 is proving to be a great phone,im using it for: Watching movies, music videos, listening to music mainly, surfing the net via Wifi,3G,or GPRS, Reading RSS FEEDS etc. . .i just need to get a 2GB Mini SD card and it wil be perfect,i love having a multimedia phone, saves space in my pocket, and makes it easier to get around specialy when on vacation,i had a Samsung Yepp YPT-4 MP3 player it was great and its tiny bt it only had 128mb of space, now its just gathering up dust in my drawer, ive got a PSP and i use that for music, games obviously and videos wen my N80s battery is low

Well i don't have a separate music player, just my phone - w810i..
Having said that, i have no intention of buying a separate music player anyways, the quality with headphones on my w810i is excellent |

@Lazeeboy, although those i.Tech A2DP headsets look intriguing, I prefer a less cumbersome solution. clip on stick and in-the-earbuds
I'm now beginning to transfer music tracks during work over BT with my friends from phone to phone.
