...and I thought you'd never sell yours. If I didn't have one of my own, I wouldn't have been happy.
Great stuff.

Seeing as transferring music to the CMD MZ5 is a bit of a taboo I have decided to show how I did it!
Granted you need a PSP to do it how I did, but you can use a HBM-30 or one of a few SONY Magic Gate Card Readers like the MSAC-US40
which is compatible with Vista.
Next you'll need SonicStage which is available here and will need to be downloaded using Internet Explorer 6 or above.
Once you have installed SonicStage connect the PSP to the USB lead and turn on USB connection start up SonicStage and click on transfer (presuming you have loaded up your library) and the memory stick should now be showing.
Before transferring anything across the settings need to be changed for the device so go to Tools>Options>Transfer>Memory Stick>Transfer Settings and ensure ATRAC3 transfer is selected.
Close the boxes, you are now ready to transfer, simply select the tracks you want from the library and hit the transfer button, once written to the Stick remove from the PSP/Card Reader insert back into MZ5 and enjoy!

Excellent!
It sounds quite simple the way you explained it - can't wait to try it now.
