Yes, it happened to me once, but I hung the call, called again, and it was gone!
I do confirm this problem also, but since I use it a lot, I constantly get this problem in almost every call I make. Whenever it sounds "metallic" just click twice on the "Speaker" key (this will transfer the sound back to the phone, and the second keystroke will reroute the sound to the Speaker without the noisy-metallic sound), and you do not have to make a call again.

I never had any restarts with R5 (i still have it,don't want to upgrade to the email bug) but lately i am experiencing restarts at least once (usually 3 times) a day.crap hone..I don't mind too much.

Hi, The volume output on FM & mp3 through headphones is significantly reduced after the last update, any one facing this problem, any remedy for this ?

i may say like this:
Do not update from R5A017 to R6D23 if:
- you like to open several application that eats lots of RAM at the same time
- you like doing copy paste from office application to email (specifically with lots of characters).
- you use Flip Open, and you like using spacebar as shortcut to phone menu (actually this can be solved by installing a free 3rd party apps, however u have to re-run the apps after restart)
Update from R5A017 to R6D23 if:
- you with to have a clear thumbnail view in picture gallery/file manager, and speed contact
- you are courious with the new version of opera web browser in R6D
- you wish to have a VoIP capability in your P990i (by installing fring apps... it's free, officially they required f/w R6d23, but there are some reports that R5A017 is able to use fring).
it's just my opinion, sorry for my english. |
