Hi Mib,
That was what i was being told, but as i wasn't able to find a N93i anywhere i couldn't do a comparison. As for the N95 screen being better than the N93's screen again that is what i was being told and after comparing 4 different N95's all set to the same brightness level as the N93 my findings did not support that. The N93's screen was actually noticeably better and not just MO but also the poor shop staff that i drove nuts testing it.

thats because N93 has more pixels per cm compared to N95 |

Also remember the n95 (and apparantly the n93i) both have their screens exposed as opposed to covered by a housing screen like the n93 and older models n70 ect... |

It quite confusing. How about we standardised the terminology:-
- Screen Proctetor Film: plastic film which you stick on the screen
- Screen Protective Casing : part of the phone casing. The clear hard plastic "window" (lcd lies underneath this).
N70 + all S60 prior have Screen Protective Casing. N70 has a Screen Protector Film thrown in as well to protect the "Screen Protective Casing"
N95 dont have a Screen Protective Casing so LCD screen is exposed. So logically you think the screen can be easily damaged by knock or sharp object, right?? BUT someone who said to have talked to a design engineer of N95 said the engineer told him that the N95 LCD itself is "shrink wrapped" with tough plastic coating to make it more robust/durable/resistant to normal knocks. It is also water-tight since the screen is exposed to the elements. In addition a Screen Protector Film is included in package (at least for asian model) to further protect the screen from scratch.

Well for starters its a lot harder to ruin the screen as without the housing its more sensitive. You only need to touch the n95 screen not to hard to see all the pixels going funny,

If it were really as "robust/durable/resistant" as you say then why would they include a screen protector "on the asian model"?
