af and a led are no K-series features, it's standard features found in mobiles from over 2 years ago, and other standard mobiles...

The design is deliciously sexy! I love this phone, particularly the black one.

I wish I hadn't upgraded so soon. At worst, I'll sell my W850 and get this baby soonest.

The designer/s of this phone should be given a major pay hike!

Once again, great job SE, you guys are clearly showing who's the top dog in design and innovation.

IMO the thinner it goes, more functions will be compromised.

As a rule yes, but I think we will eventually see this not being the case. Its more expensive for manufacturers to make slimmer handsets but over time this will become the norm.

The 3G K600i was touted as the slimmest 3G phone at one time but it looks podgy next to the W880i and I think in a couple of years time the W880i will look basic for a slim handset compared to what might be on offer.

i know, but k phones(specially the latest ones) are intended to be more a camera. 800, 810 have AF(we already know that). but the latest phones are being intended to music and design, the lack of camera features are being noticed.

Yup the camera features are really being noticed then the music features.Remember k750i , people in my country were buying it like hell and no-one was buying the w700 which was released at almost the same time as k750i bcuz people wanted 2 megapixel camera with AF , while w700 didn't have AF ... or if it wasn't w700 i guess it was some other walkman phone at that time which i can't remember...lol ...
I love my K750 !
I love my N73 Music Edition !
I love my Sony Ericsson K810 !

You are missing my point, this phone will not be super cheap, and it's lacking standard components, a camera without a led is pretty much as good as no camera at all. It don't matter if it's a or a K...

Now I don't remember who talked about the thickness, but, thinking there is no space for a led because of the thickness is just fooling your self, it's all about cost, and since _all_ phones are overpriced cost for a led should not be a problem to put in. Let's not kid ourselves here, ok ...

All this time(well, just 2 days) I was thinking that the back of black w660 has a finger print design, but it was a record surface, now I get why "Record Black" duh.

And I wouldnt worry about the flash, cause I can buy the xenon flash accessory.

So, I want to buy one of these sexy phones for my sister as her birthday present(of course Rose Red version). But also I'm really tempted to buy her a Nokia 7373 Pink version, its got a great design too. What do you guys recommend?

Rose Red Sony Ericsson W660 or Powder Pink Nokia 7373???

It just seems odd that the W800 camera isn't the default spec for subsequent series phones. I mean, as soon as the K series camera leaps to 4 megapixels or more the camera will improve Im sure but why make W800/W810 users take a step backwards.

A 2 megapixel camera is about the lowest you would want go and still have pics you would wanna keep. Losing the AF and flash just lowers the bar and is kinda why I still have my W800.

Nevertheless, this phone is a stunning and now my W800 joystick is playing up I guess its gonna have to be this or the W610!
