And for the last time, the only successor to the t68's features is P800 which features everything you've been hackling about: poly, java blahblah.... [addsig]

No way. First of all look at the price of both of them. Miles aspart !! One is a pda phone the other is a feature packed high end phone. Just look at the series letter man, one is P the other is T. I rest my case. Hey Mark, u like to listen to Korn? :-)

Not exactly, why you asking? I prefer One Minute Silence (or used to like them anyway ) Anyway, I was referring feature-wise. Who cares about the model number? In that caswe you could say that the T300 is a successor of the T68. [addsig]

I did NOT say that the t300 is the successor. The t68i successor is not out yet. There are rumors in the forums that it will be out soon. Who know ? Maybe the t400 or t500... But NOT P800. How can u say that FEATURE wise? They are miles aspart !! Thats like saying that the Porsche Boxter's successor is the Porsche 911 Carrera GT !! The price difference and specs are 'MILES' apart ! Pda phone is NOT = phone.

Okay, T-Mobile is now offering a free 007 Spy Pack to the first 30,000 customers who purchase a T300 w/ CommuniCam between 08-Nov-02 and 31-Dec-02. To qualify, you need to sign a one-year contract for at least $39.99/mo. and you must have at least one extra t-zone data feature activated.

Offer on T-Mobile site: http://www.t-mobile.com/promos/JamesBond/default.asp?loc=pln

Offer form and terms & conditions: http://www.t-mobile.com/promos/Jamesbond/jamesbond_tc.asp

Seems like a grete deal to me, especially considering the phone with free camera is only $99.99 from T-Mobile.

However, I'm keeping my adriatic blue T68i. IMO it's much better looking than a T300. I'll just download the JB content once someone posts it

Which part don't you get?! Successor does not mean it has to have the same features "Only better". It just means that a better spec model which surpasses the previous one! Cars are not in the same league as phones. We're talking about se's line of top phones and presently, their top phone is the T68. followed by its "successor" the p800. That's why I said FEATURE-WISE. P800 has got everything the t68 has and more. Unless you're too used to Nokia phones and their so called successors like 8210 to 8250 to 8310. SE will not follow that path. They just release fully different phones and different models with just a little similarity between them.

@ Mark, if u are talking about SonyEricsson's successor to its highest end phone, than u are right. But i am talking about the successor of the t68i in terms of its CLASS, and that makes me right too. So if we argue, we wont be getting anywhere, cause u are talking in terms of best phone produced by SE, I am talking bout the successor in terms of its class. So, lets live and let live k ? Cheers dude :-)
