Chronic.......I, at 10 stone(approx.), just got blown off a path into the (thankfully empty) road!!!!!!!!!!
Surprised three youths(huddling together) by landing on my feet, though! And got back on the path PDQ......

hehe a big tree got uprooted and fell over outside my college and nearly hit one of the students and my maths tutor thought it was hilarious! The tree brought up half the concrete pavement too!

@Aware

I got my phone out and filmed a lady leaving my building and then watched her suddenly pick up speed as the wind got hold of her and dragged her off into the distance whether she liked it or not.

I was gonna do some more filming but I was frightened in case the wind took my phone off me and smashed it to pieces.

yeah, I wouldn't want my phone to fly out of my hands and end up decking someone either

Its murder in London at the moment

I schedule the maintenance for the RBS branch's down there and i have been swamped under with calls.

Apparenty one of the clock towers on a branch got blown to pieces and the Wooden bricks(yeh thats right there fake ) were hitting shop windows and cars.

Im just glad its not as bad here [addsig]

Finish work at 7pm usually, but didn't get home til 10.30pm last night. All for a bit of wind.

A friend of mine finished work at 3.30pm and her 20 minute journey finished at 9.30pm.

The Runcorn Bridge was closed so she took a diversion, got stuck in a traffic jam, nearly ran out of petrol so she turned the engine off and was stuck in her car shivering for over 5 hours.

@masseur

I know what you mean. I live less than 10 minutes walk from work, its much less stressful than waiting on cancelled trains etc.
