when charging my phone, the backlight ALWAYS remains on, is there anyway to make the backlight go off?

Also any trick to get alarms to wake the phone up , so you don't have to keep the phones switched on when you are sleeping?

if you put your phone settings to handheld :auto it will turn off eventually when you charge it.
If you put handheld: on it will remain lit up.
You can find those in backlight settings in the control panel

If you put in in auto and go to brightness settings and choose 0% or 1% it'll be almost off.
I've put mine on 5% and it's turning off after a minute, I mean completly off. Nice.
PS: I have the latest FW update.

I have

Why is my CDA so behind?

Ive found that if you have the inactivity lock enabled then it goes off after a while when charging, or you can use the phone in handheld mode, which means it goes off regardless.

After updating to the latest firmware unable to change the icons ...

More-> Edit-> Shortcut Icon-> When browsing the folders it does not show any icon (.png) files.
The files are there - File Manager shows them properly.

Anyone else? Workaround/Fix?

Hi all,

I've updated the firmware too, but I'm still waiting for the proper language package, not available in the download area yet. Not a big deal though.

What is really annoying is a "new" bug in the Calendar & Task applications only, while modifing the time: tapping the hours is fine but if I tap into the minutes box the frame becomes blank, and I can see through it while touching the screen only!!! The same behavior applies using the keys...
Curiously, it does not happen while setting an alarm time...

Does anyone have the same problem?

Do you think that I should try the update once again? I've already did it twice... Sigh...

@ G-Izzat
Thanks but I did it a dozen of times, keeping the on/off key pressed, removing the battery too... I've updated the phone last week.

It's really bad. I cannot believe that I'm the only one having this problem!!!
