He said he could email us the screen which showed he had done the bank transfer.
Didnt believe him so asked for it, and hey presto, off he goes! |

dont think they can... but they will have reference of it.
If you want my advice... if you dont hear from him by 2moro go down to the police. Possibly get the investigation reference number off the other member who has filed a complaint (strength in numbers )
Its not really a matter of looking "stupid".. cos at the end of the day your £50 out of pocket... and the police are there to help you!

but last time i got scammed the police gave me a crime reference and then heard nothing, what can they actually do? I bet we won't get it back |
