The N73 is a better all around solution. It feel as an actual update over the previous n70 model, while the K800 is a degraded K750 with higher resolution screen. As for the appearance wait for the N73 music edition. Black N73 is a beauty!

well, having had a k800i, and now using a n73, i must say i prefer the n73. it's fantastic for watching full screen movies, and of course, playing snes games on lol. The camera may not quite reach thatof the k800i, but, it certainly not far off at all..v impressed with the camera.

I have had a k800, then an n73 and now back to a k800 so that says it all.

I terms of build I think they are equal. Both lens covers did on occasons open in my pocket.

For pictures. I think both are just as god during the day time although the n73 takes almost 3 times as long from opening the lens cover to actually taking a pic and saving it.

During night time there is no contests, k800 wins.

For taking video th3 n73 wins but i must say that the CIF video on the n73 is far worse than the CIF video that was on the n70 and in nightime a horrible purple fog appears on the picture which is so far not cured by any firmware update.

Codecs. Although the n73 does support smartmovie avi format im still yet to see it play clips as high as some ive seen encoded for the K800 ect. K800 wins.......

Battery life is about the same but id edge it to SE.

For price, well for some reason the k800s price has depreciated why i dont know but its no bearing on the quality of the phone.

I saw a review a while back comparing the d900, k800 , n93, 73 and LG 5mp phone and LG aside the K800 beat all the rest.

You wont be dissapointed.

You gotta wonder, why did K800's price depreciate? If something's selling well, there is no reason for it to become cheap so quickly.

SE could have opted for it to be sold for less to sell more units. The n73 isnt that much more than the k800.

I guess SE are trying to establish a bigger base of fans so that when they launch there next line up of handsets they wont have to try so hard to market.

yep.. amen to that bavlondon...

with this kind of phone weather were havin... droppin the SRP doesnt mean dropping quality or less taste or less sales etc etc.... i guess thats the ugly part..

whats the best part of it is that SE is trying to reach certain market level using a more versatile product... so that this product will not only be enjoyed by some few... and while doing this... again the upper level enjoys the new arrivals.... and maybe for quite sometime these new arrivals again will depreciate for the masses to enjoy... this situation will happened again in again with a company as good as

It depends on your needs...I find Symbian Horrible because i had the M600 and Symbian was difficult to use, slow, phnnbne turns off once a day...but if you really need it go fo N73. Those who say N73 camera is better...are just nokia fan boys because k800 wins by far. If you need mails and pdf, word and excel support then n73 is for you but if yo just want an easier to use phone with better camera and many great things the K800 is for you. And the k800 size is more comfortable.

For any user who wants a great phone and has no need for symbian and prefers the music player and camera rather than word or excell go for K800

Best option for me

N73 donīt support A2DP or Bluetooth Stereo. It is a MUST nowadays says Mobile-Review. Only people over 40 years old donīt need A2DP support.
In the test of smartphones in Tekniikan Maailma Magazine they found some difficulties with N73 to work between 2G and 3G under phonecalls.
K800i they found be be superb as a telephone!
