In fact, as time goes on, it becomes pointless using components that aren't any cheaper and may even be discontinued.

Your new product platform may not even be able to accomodate such components either. This is partly why low-end phones keep getting more advanced.

I am surprised Motorola aren't beyond VGA by now on ALL products. And, the same for other companies. Maybe my expectations are just too high!!

FWIW, the new Moto UI is a bit more SE like, but only a bit. I have used it on their i-mode phone and it should almost certainly be on all these new models. God help them if it isn't!!

are aiming for a double figure market share by early 2007.

They might just achieve it what with the W850 and W950 yet to be released.

3GSM hopefully, will bring even more goodies.

These two models are quite different from the W810/W800 phones so they should attract even more fans.
