Having seen it today, I can say the Orange bar does the following;

- Acts as a way of sliding the phone up/down
- Animates (two orange LEDs) in time with the music - which looks almost as if the phone is talking to you.
- Can be pressed to bring up the Walkman player

The four circlular lights are white in ordinary use, and switch to a purple colour in music mode.

It's quite hard to use the directional buttons and I think a lot of people will find it frustrating. There are two keys at the top of the screen, suggesting games will be played in landscape mode (like the W550) but the sample had no games loaded on it at all.

The use of MS PRO Duo gives a good hint at how long the phone has been in development, and SE admitted that it was based on the older platform (even though it has the Walkman Player V2.0). Even the demo video that comes on every phone was that of the W900!

It's a nice phone, don't get me wrong, but didn't completely blow me away. Still, the white one is shown off nicely on the Chelsea-bound double decker bus in Da Vinci Code! Lovely product placement I must say!!

Hey the keypad even though have the design of w550 in term of look...BUT look carefully on the picture from se-community.

it seem it is hard plastic...compare to the rubbery one for w550.

each button seem to be a piece of it own compare to w550 which is
on big piece of rubber which is not got to press to.

Well maybe there's an incremental improvement on this area....
i guess only those who have pressed the keys before can confirm this.

The top row of keys (123) might be a little difficult to press since there isn't much extra space above it. (problem of N80 too)

And mine.. IMO video recording on ANY contemporary phone is at the neanderthal stage still picture cams were around -02 - 03 anyway, so who cares?! Heck, i donīt even use my proper digicam for video because itīs not good enough to be enjoyable

Mybe not to you but for other video recording is becoming as much a use as still images.

I really don't love the looks of this phone. I think that it looks a bit clunky, no offense to the people who like it. That back of the phone (multimedia computer) is a stunner though. I think it looks great! The phone should've been more whole in its design cause to me it looks like a bit of mix and match. The specs are great though, and how they managed to pack all of that into uch a small device is great! Not my next phone, but certainly a winner. (pity about the video)
