You get better deals on the internet though - extra mins and all that jazz.

I have to say, I've been with Orange for a couple of years now and they are miles ahead of Vodafone and most of the others for service, coverage and stuff.

Very reliable operator.

Their firmware variations seem to be more reliable as well - although I agree O2 are better in terms of less branding, remember how bad others are such as Vodafone.

Has anyone else noticed that Orange seem to have removed the over the air updates from their W810's, I can't find it anywhere in the menu.

Right

I bit the bullet and went for it with Orange.

It seems they've changed the icons on the menu and a few other minor things, but I'm double pleased with it.

I wanted a simple and practical camera phone and I think I've just got the best one on the market.

Make sure you buy online though. I got a much better tariff online compared to in the shop when I was taking a look at the handset, the phone's also free online (for all tarriffs) and £30 in the shop (unless you choose a contract that's under £40 per month).

Mine is on orange as has a few fcuk ups with o2! The branding is not bad, orange logo on bottom instead of walkman logo - no big deal and if your fussed then you could buy new cover anyway. Menu layout is different, but on a good note, the white side bar is not there!

I will be flashing mine back to how it should be when the files are released anyway... so no big drama!

I just called up Orange to get an upgrade to a w810i and it ended up with me cancelling my contract.
They told me there would be a charge of £99 for the new phone. I told them I wouldn't be paying that. I've been with them for years so thought that may be they would give me a free upgrade... nope not even a discount. So I've now cancelled the contract.
