I was just wondering now why is it that SE can't ever let us have the best of both worlds... Until now, that was possible since all you had to do was flash your K750 to W800 and presto, beautiful looking phone with all the W800 functionality. But Now, the W and K lines are so separated hardware wise that made it impossible
If the K800's Media Player is the same one as in 750, half of the attractive of this phone is gone for me right then and there. And if, on top of that, those strawberries sample pics are truly representative of what we can expect to see from this phone, (very dissapointing for a 3.2 MP "cybershot") then I'll just go ahead and get me a W810 when I can and just wait for the next generation of SE phones after this one. |

Hey, i was so amazed with these new SE phones, but i keep waiting for memory spex of the k790 and the k800.
And why the..... the 2nd screen on the w300 and the z530 are monochrome?

ugly ugly ugly.. too many corners.. and that cybershot logo between the screen and the keys look out of place.. i'd rather get the w810 and wait for the next 3.2MP phone; hopefully it's better designed
but that's just me. continue the party boys.  |

hmmm...nice, but worried about memory and video.
This has to be shipped with a decent M2 card...and hopefully the video will b at least 30fps!

Reading on sonyericssons site it looks like the specs says that your mp3s have to be drm protected... I hope this isn't true I don't want the same hazzle as some ppl with voda branded phones has gone through before.
I want to be able to rip my cds to mp3 and put them on the memstick using a memcardreader w/o having to add drm info on them.
I hope someone with access to this phone can test put an mp3 on the phone and play it both as ringsignal and in the mediaplayer.

That does just mean that you CAN play DRM protected music of course you can play your own mp3s as well just as is the case with all the other SE phones who also have DRM. |

And I just looked in w800 specs and it says exactly the same.
I'm so happy it isn't gonna be same mess as some branded phones
who only can play drm mp3s.

If this is not shipped with a 256mb card then it will b interesting to see how fast the memory fills up...
Think...64mb internal...thats 100 pictures claims SE...what if you put a few mp3's on your phone, and record a few lengthy videos...hmm, thats going to leave you mayb room for 40 pics? ...then you go to use your 'best pic' feature...thats 9 pics every time you click, and mayb you are in a rush so can't delete the extra shots until later.......hmmm....so mayb we can take 4 pictures before our memory is filled...YAY! .... COME ON SE YOU HAVE TO GIVE US A BIG CARD....If the walkman phones deserve a big card, why not the picture phones...
