Nokia's one doesn't have a 3.5mm either. Being a headset, will it come with a full 1 year warrantee? |

Probably, like all SE products.
But that will only cover faulty manufacturing, not if you accidentally pull on the earphone cable and it damages the earphone, something ive done many times in the past.

It does.
I must have gone through at least 50 pairs of in-ear headphones during my 26 years, and its always been because the wire gets tugged on and it slightly breaks the connection between it and the earphone, making one side either not work, sound mono or distorted, or most annoying crackle with static.

Why don't make real BT headphones like this.
If A2DP adapters can be made for iPods, then why not for mp3 enabled mobiles with SE's new AND old connectors. It would be great to stream stereo sound to BT headphones from my V800.
I'd love a W950i but there's no MSPD or M2 support. I'll stick to the V800 and wait...

have been testing this headset in 2 days now and i can tell you that i will definetly return this headset and go back to my old ones...
the reason: it seems that the headset "needs to se the mobile"
if i for example but my phone in my pockets ill get no sound from the ds970,,
i cant even hold my k610 in my hand and walk without the sounds dissapears and comes back the second later...
possitive: really good sound and you can have louder sound than you can have from your phone.. to shame that its impossible to use the handsfree with a k610
im using the latest software on my k610 and the ds970 have been used with 2 different k610!

Hi, I' ve just today received my SE BT HBH-DS970. Just thought I'd give my first impressions....... When I pulled it out the box was surprised to find the earphones are integral to the cord that is placed around the neck!! the length is adjustable, but for instance if there were to be a loose connection, it would need replacement of the whole headset!!
Anyway, I paired it with my K800 and started the music player...audio quickly transfered to headset automatically.
Audio quality is SUPERB!! Placed my K800 in my pocket, in a rucksack while walking and even in my wife's pocket while jogging, no skip in play!!! Easily as good as a normal HPM-70!!
I did experience some loss and skipping and that was when I was at home, as my laptop, running the SE SYNCH/File manager application was constantly communicating with my phone which for some reason, made my hardcore punk skip!! My only other disapointment with the headset was that it didnt display the track name as it says on the box. Doesnt do what it says on the tin!! Maybe this is a W950 only function, to keep interest. Anyway, in my opinion, a superb headset, a little overpriced but maybe this'll come down. I would recommend.......... |

@darth.paul
Have you tried turning on the Power Save feature on the K800 so that the phone only communicates with the DS-970? |
